Hi everyone! My name is Britney (she/her) and I’ll be the president of Active Minds for FW21-22. I’m going into my fourth year at York in the Concurrent Education program, majoring in sociology. I’ve been involved with Active Minds since the second term of my second year and I’ve really enjoyed my time with the club. I started as an event coordinator for Active Minds, helping to plan and execute fun and educational events for general members; I have learned a lot and met some amazing people during my time with the club and Iook forward to what this new year as President will bring. I am excited to lead Active Minds this year and look forward to meeting new faces at our upcoming events. An interesting fact about me is that I’m mixed-handed, which means I use my left hand for some tasks and my right hand for others.
