For students, there are many stresses that we deal with throughout the year that can cause us to feel depressed or mentally unwell. It is very <\/em>likely that a friend will be dealing with such stresses that you may not be aware of and it may affect your friendship.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n What can we do if a friend is going through a tough time?<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Talk the problems out. Some people are comfortable with talking out their problems, while others are not. Whatever problems that your friend is dealing with, giving them a space to talk can be effective as it will give clarity dealing with the situation.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n Of course these are only some actions that can be taken. All situations and people are different, so it’s up to you to decide what course of action to take. The point is to ensure that you have done everything within reason to help your friend out.
